An Expert Take on Facebook Display Advertising
Well, done, Hyundai. This take on an online display ad is one of the better I’ve seen.
Hyundai is sponsoring the production of a film that will hit the cultural “nail” of our times right on the head, from a musical perspective at least. The photo used for the ad captures a person holding a sign explaining “Life without art is stupid.”
Bravo!
Marketers that realize ad space on social networks requires a strong, human, more emotional tone will prevail; all others will find themselves dated. I applaud this creative, the stance that Hyundai is taking in concept and direction, and general movement our industry is taking.
Shoot me your thoughts @josepholesh.

Prop 8 Repealed & I Couldn’t Be Prouder {VIDEO}
Big day for a lot of folks in CA! Congrats to those who’ve been fighting to repeal Prop 8.
I am proud to have produced this film, PRIDE 2009, just as the battle began. Documenting the 2009 Pride Parade in San Francisco, this short film is a tribute to Frankie Frankeny and Chloe Harris of JustMarried.us, and all those who took a stand against Prop 8.
Shot on an HVX200 and cut in Final Cut Studio 2, this project was truly a labor of love.
