Two hours ago, I published: Instagram, Mobile Marketing & The New York Auto Show

The post is a relatively thorough review of the strategy and tactics I deployed in the New York Acura / New York Auto Show campaign, with specific reference to the Instagram mobile strategy.

A not-so-subtle objective of the post was to gain additional traffic for the blog itself, Tier10Lab. Knowing Instagram will be a trending topic for the next few months, I hoped to grab search queries that might be related to it. And, knowing how corporate brands jump to new, trendy applications in droves, I figured the “Instagram Mobile Marketing” query would be a valuable one to own.

Now, two hours later, in a search query of 29,100,000, our Instagram post is number 3.

Keep your content relevant and interesting, do NOT fall to the dark side of over-SEO, and by all means, employ code that produces rich-snippets that then integrate your Google+ profile.

New York International Auto Show “By The Numbers” Is A Video Infographic by NY Acura and Tier10 Marketing
Very proud of this latest video: New York International Auto Show Video Infographic Learn of the history of the NY Auto Show and details about the show’s schedule and ticket prices. Working at Tier10 Marketing allows me the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the automotive marketing industry. Here, Jason Kress brought a data set to life in an infographic. Erin Lancaster, then, set the infographic to motion. The idea for the infographic was two-fold. First, I was tasked to create a strong digital presence for the NY Acura Dealers Association around the New York International Auto Show. A tremendous part of this was utilizing social media in a way that moved the needle in Search. To do this, a core set of creative assets were required. These assets were then the base of the majority of the original content created to drive the campaign. Secondly, knowing we’d be catering to a social media audience, I wanted to develop creative assets with a high engagement variable. Infographics have become a trendy way to comunicate data in an entertaining, engaging way; adding motion and a human voice over to that infographic only heightens that engagement factor. New York International Auto Show: Acura

This is sure to be a HUGE week.

Acura wooed many in Detroit with its unveiling of the concept NSX.

Just posted to AcuraSocial: “Announced today, Acura’s new flagship sedan will make its world debut at the New York International Auto Show. Employing an array of new Acura technologies, including the Sport Hybrid SH-AWD® system, the concept vehicle will deliver an entirely new level of performance, sophistication and comfort.”

Acura will debut its new flagship sedan at the New York International Auto Show on April 4, 2012 at 1:50 PM (EST). The reveal will take place in the Acura booth located in the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
